Sixth Form

The Sixth Form builds on the success of the Senior School. It has been an exciting time with the School expanding year-on-year and we have cultivated a caring and supportive environment coupled with rigorous academic standards and the highest quality of teaching.

The Sixth Form at Wetherby prepares our young men for the challenges of the 21st Century. Our aim is to ensure that they leave us ready for the next stage in their life – confident, self-disciplined, independent and curious but with a sense of personal and social responsibility.

Small class sizes, dedicated teaching staff and excellent pastoral care, with each boy having a tutor to support and guide them through their final two years in School, ensures that our Sixth Form pupils maintain momentum both in and out of the classroom. This close-knit, supportive community gives them the academic foundation to succeed on their chosen course at top universities in the UK and abroad.

“The Sixth Form is the culmination of a boy’s time at school, a two-year period when they are given greater responsibility for their own learning and numerous leadership opportunities.

It is a time that requires reflection and self-assessment of their strengths, their potential and their ambitions.
