Founded in 2015, Wetherby Senior has quickly established itself as a vibrant, diverse and caring community with strong shared values. Our objective is simple – we want our young men to look forward to school, knowing that they will receive an outstanding, well-rounded and modern education that prepares them academically, and personally, to flourish in the world today.

Our dynamic and experienced teachers inspire and encourage our boys, and they learn in state-of-the-art facilities which themselves facilitate learning. Above all, our staff care for our boys and foster in them the character and attitude they need to succeed. The breadth of our academic offering is designed to help our young men grow into adults who are resilient, adaptable, creative, and motivated to continue learning throughout their lives, just like their teachers.

Our rigorous academic curriculum is complemented by a broad collection of co-curricular opportunities, so that Wetherby boys develop existing talents and pursue new ones. We offer a diverse range of clubs, music tuition in an array of instruments and numerous musical ensembles, as well as LAMDA tuition and at least three drama productions a year. Sport is a core part of our curriculum for all and a little different to other schools. We make use both of our superb on-site set-up (which includes a fully-equipped gym and weights room, boxercise studio and spin studio) and the professional external facilities at Ealing Trailfinders. Our cricketers train in the nets at Lords and we are always refreshing our provision, with access to London’s best facilities.

Our location in Marylebone is unrivalled. Being located in the middle of one of the world’s great cities brings a special kind of energy to the school and our pupils, and their parents, form a diverse and cosmopolitan community. Our setting also gives us door-step access to museums, galleries, theatres, exhibitions, lectures and other places of interest, and these opportunities are integrated into our curriculum.

We encourage the ambitions of all our young men with clear higher education and careers guidance, which starts much earlier than most schools and includes support for European and North American university applications. Our recent alumni now study at some of the most prestigious universities across London, the UK, continental Europe and North America.
