Wetherby Senior pupils got into the Christmas spirit last week, on a festive day trip to France.
Heading across the Channel, our Year 9 boys enjoyed time at Lille’s famous Christmas market. As well as getting a chance to practise their French, they were able to browse the market stalls for festive gifts and try out some tasty treats, such as gingerbread and chocolate praline.
Based in northern France, near the Belgium border, Lille’s Christmas market boasts around 90 different stalls, and its central location means its Ferris wheel offers fantastic views across the city.
Wetherby Senior sixth formers have been snapping around London, taking photos of what our capital city means to them.
