Class of 23 – Cosmo

Year 13, Cosmo, has offers to read mechanical engineering at a number of top UK universities, including Brunel, King’s College London, and Queen Mary, University of London.

“I have loved my time in Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form, and have particularly enjoyed studying for my A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, and Physics. It has been great to have this opportunity to focus further on the subjects that most interest me.

“I decided to apply for engineering at university because, as a young child, I dreamed of being an inventor. I now think engineering is the closest option to being an inventor, so I undertook further research on different fields within engineering, before deciding that mechanical engineering would best suit me and the career that I wish to have after university.

“To anyone thinking of joining Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form, I would say that staff are friendly and approachable. For example, if I was ever struggling with a particular topic, I knew that I could contact the relevant teacher and they would happily meet with me to explain further.”
