Class of 23 – Tianzhi

Year 13, Tianzhi, has offers to read computer science at a number of top Russell Group universities, including Imperial College London, King’s College London, and Queen Mary, University of London.

“I joined Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form from MPW College, and am now undertaking my A Levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Economics. I was keen to study at Wetherby Senior because it had a good reputation and was in a fantastic location, right in the centre of London.

“I found it really easy to settle into life in our Sixth Form, as it is a relatively small community and everyone – staff and other sixth formers – was very friendly and welcoming. I have enjoyed focusing on my four A Level subjects in much greater detail, and I have been very impressed by the high standard of teaching offered within our Sixth Form.

“Outside of the classroom, I have taken part in volunteering activities arranged through our Sixth Form, and have particularly enjoyed being part of the Age UK ITea Party at nearby Marylebone Library. At these events, we help those aged over 50 to build their online skills and learn how to use the internet safely. As well as being a worthwhile activity, it is also really nice to chat to these local residents.

“I’m looking forward to starting my undergraduate degree and I am thinking about doing a Masters in the USA afterwards. However, I will miss Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form! I have been taught by fantastic staff here and have also made some amazing friends.”
