Sixth Form Scholar – Jacobo
Year 11 pupil, Jacobo, has been awarded a Sixth Form Scholarship. He is planning to study A Levels in Business, Economics, Government and Politics, and Spanish within Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form in September 2023.
“I joined Wetherby Senior in Year 7, having previously lived overseas, and I am excited to be starting in our Sixth Form this autumn. I know that, at Wetherby Senior, teachers are enthusiastic about their subjects, so I’m sure my time as a sixth former will be rewarding and I will learn a lot.
“I’ve chosen A Levels that I believe will be interesting, challenging, and enjoyable since all, apart from Spanish, are not subjects that I have previously studied. I think my options sit well together and will provide me with plenty of opportunities when I start thinking further about university study and career options.
“My family was delighted to hear that I had been awarded a Sixth Form Scholarship, and they are fully supportive of my decision to join Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form.”
