Year 13, Zachary, has offers to read classics at a number of top Russell Group universities, including UCL and Durham.
“I joined Wetherby Senior in Year 7 and always enjoyed studying classics, so it was a natural step to take A Level Latin, alongside History and Maths, within our Sixth Form. Wetherby Senior’s Classics Department is simply fantastic, with great teachers who are so full of energy.
“Wetherby Senior has always been very supportive of my university plans and specialist support is provided to all sixth formers who are applying to the most competitive universities, like Russell Group institutions. Both Miss Nash and Miss Woods, from our Classics Department, helped me with my preparation for different university tests and interviews, while Mrs Deedat (Head of Sixth Form) encouraged me to ensure all my applications were ready in advance of the given deadlines.
“During my years at Wetherby Senior, it has been amazing to see our community grow and to see our Trib (house) system become more robust, providing a strong backbone to our School.
