Year 13, Ramtin, has been accepted to read biomedical engineering at a number of top Russell Group universities, including Imperial College London, King’s College London, and Southampton.
“I joined Wetherby Senior in Year 9 and found it very easy to settle in as lots of other pupils were new, so I soon made good friends. I am now studying for my A Levels in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics within our Sixth Form. I chose these options as I know they will open the door to many future careers for me.
“When I started working on my university applications, staff at Wetherby Senior provided fantastic support and guidance, particularly regarding the writing of my personal statement, along with suggestions on additional reading. Staff also helped me to prepare for my interview at Imperial College London, and provided helpful feedback and advice.
“During that interview, I talked about my recent work experience within the Bioengineering Department at Imperial College London. This was a brilliant opportunity to shadow the researchers and see, first-hand, what it would be like to study and work there. I’m delighted to have now been offered a place at this world-class university, and at other leading institutions.”
