Dreaming of a brass Christmas

Wetherby Senior’s Brass Band got into the Christmas spirit this week, with their first concert of the Christmas season.

In front a very appreciative audience at The Gower School, who clapped and sang along merrily, our School’s talented Brass Band performed a number of Christmas classics last Wednesday.

Mr Martin, Director of Music at Wetherby Senior, said: “Wetherby Senior’s Brass Band have made this trip to The Gower School for the last five years. We very much enjoy performing and it is a great way to promote the joy of brass playing to a younger generation.

“Well done to all our brilliant Wetherby Senior musicians, although extra praise must also go to our Mr Lewis, who dug deep into his joke book to make everyone at laugh and participate in our concert!”

Wetherby Senior’s young musicians will also be performing at our School’s Christmas Concert next Wednesday (14th December), at Hannah House from 6pm.

Wetherby Senior sixth formers have been snapping around London, taking photos of what our capital city means to them.
