Row, row, row your Trib

Wetherby Senior pupils are being asked to pull through for their Trib, by joining our Trib Rowing Competition.

Starting from Monday 28th November, our Trib Rowing Competition will use equipment in our School’s gym at Marylebone Lane, providing a fun and healthy way for boys to gain points for their Trib.

Mr Stokoe, from our PE Department, explains: “Our rowers will need to complete the set distance (in metres) for their year group in the fastest time possible. Those who finish in the top five for their cohort will win points for their Trib.

“We have specific days for each year group, with different time slots in our School gym. Further details are below, and I look forward to seeing many of our boys rowing the distance.”

With timeslots before school (7am–8am), over break (10:45am-11am) and at lunch (1.05pm-2pm), our Trib Rowing Competition will be on the following days:
Monday 28th November – Years 7 and 8 (1500m)
Tuesday 29th November – Year 9 (1750m)
Wednesday 30th November – Years 11, 12 and 13 (2500m)
Thursday 1st December – Year 10 (2000m)

Mr Stokoe added: “Any Wetherby Senior pupils wishing to take part in our Trib Rowing Competition should send me a message on Teams or speak to me directly in our PE Department.”
