Ticket to RADA

Tickets are now on sale for Wetherby Senior’s Upper School Play – Bus Stop – at RADA.

While our School’s cast of boys from Year 10-13 are hard at work rehearsing, family and friends can purchase tickets via RADA’s website here. Bus Stop will be on at RADA Studios on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th December.

Bus Stop was written by Ms Twomey, Head of Drama at Wetherby Senior, with professional writer, Liam Beirne. She explained: “When the Metropolitan Police receive a call that they have a vehicle with no brakes careering through London, they immediately know that passengers and civilians are in danger.

“As the passengers try to solve the problem themselves, often making the matter worse, Police Inspector Oscar Hunt has his own ideas. While the detectives explore how the matter should be handled, will those on the bus discover why they are in this situation and, more importantly, how to get out of it?”

Ms Twomey is now directing Bus Stop, with rehearsals taking place three to four times a week in our School’s Marylebone Lane Drama Studio, before opening night at RADA Studios in December.

Ms Twomey added: “Our Upper School Play is our biggest production, enabling boys to collaborate with professional set, lighting, and costume designers from the West End, and giving an opportunity to perform on stage at one of the UK’s leading theatres.

“I’m so impressed by the hard work and dedication of our Upper School cast, and I can’t wait to show Bus Stop to audiences in December. Please visit RADA’s website now to book your tickets.”
