Class of 23 – Lorenzo

Year 13, Lorenzo, has an offer to read physics at King’s College London, a world-leading Russell Group university.

“I joined Wetherby Senior in Year 8 and have studied for my A Levels in Physics, Maths, Further Maths and Economics within our Sixth Form. I applied to read physics at university as I had really enjoyed building my knowledge and understanding of the subject through my A Level Physics at Wetherby Senior.

“Staff at Wetherby Senior have been incredibly supportive of my future university plans, offering advice and guidance while I was writing my personal statement and helping me to get ready for any further admission tests. For example, by providing me with opportunities to undertake mock papers for this, our Sixth Form staff ensured that I felt confident about sitting my actual exams.

“To anyone thinking of joining Wetherby Senior in Year 12, I would say that our Sixth Form provides a great opportunity to achieve your goals and ambitions. You can talk to staff about your future university plans and you can be sure that you will be directed towards the right path for success.”
