Check out Wetherby Senior’s final issue of The Barometer for 2023!
Available online, here, The Barometer – Half Term 2, features articles on a wide range of topics, from the history of chess to our School’s annual castle competition, plus reviews of visits to the Churchill War Rooms and to learn more about coffee production! As it is the last edition before Christmas, it also includes a number of festive features, with favourite Christmas food and recipes, plus a piece on how Christmas came to be the celebration we know today.
With two issues of The Barometer produced each term, our pupil-led publication enables our young people to gain valuable experience of writing and creating a magazine from scratch. Boys from across all year groups contribute to the publication, ensuring that it includes news about our School alongside further topical and interesting articles.
So, have a wonderful winter holiday and enjoy reading The Barometer – Half Term 2!
