From comedy to DJing, and from piano music to political musings, Wetherby Senior’s Year 8 showcased an eclectic range of talents on Friday.
To end the penultimate week before half-term, our Year 8 cohort were invited to put on a talent show for their peers. Making good use of our Marylebone Lane Drama Studio, members of our Lower School rose to the challenge admirably, with a show that was greatly enjoyed by fellow pupils and members of staff.
Ms Nash, Assistant Head: Head of Lower School, explains: “This was a fantastic opportunity for our Year 8 to showcase their very different talents, while building valuable skills that are required when performing in front of an audience.”
With the Britain’s Got Talent judges unavailable, Wetherby Senior’s Assistant Head: Co-Curricular valiantly stepped in. Ms Walters said: “I was so impressed with the diverse talents of our Year 8 and had to award numerous prizes in recognition of their effort, expertise, and entertainment value.
“However, my overall winners were Aarav, Santino and Iggy, for their superb performance.”
