Fond farewell

It was a fond farewell indeed for Wetherby Senior’s Year 13 at our drinks reception last Friday.

Almost all of our Class of 23, along with their parents and a number of Wetherby Senior staff, attended our Sixth Form’s farewell drinks reception at Hannah House.

Ms Mendes, Deputy Head of Sixth Form, said: “Everyone agreed it was a lovely way to celebrate the completion of A Level exams. Our boys spoke of their excitement about the next chapter of their education, as well as discussing their summer plans!”

Wetherby Senior’s outgoing Year 13 received over 100 offers for top universities around the globe. This includes Russell Group institutions in the UK, a dozen offers for prestigious colleges in the USA and Canada, and three sixth formers set to study at world-leading universities on continental Europe.

Indeed, Wetherby Senior’s support for boys when making applications for European universities, as well as the success of our Class of 23, has been highlighted in a recent article by Talk Education, looking at the growing popularity of studying across continental Europe.

Farewell to our Class of 23!
