Brilliant award for Benjamin

Wetherby Senior’s Deputy Head Boy has been honoured with a prestigious award – The Lexden Prize for Sixth Formers.

Currently in Year 13, Benjamin has been awarded second place for this renowned Independent School Association (ISA) award, which celebrates the most remarkable sixth formers found at ISA member schools.

Mrs Deedat, Head of Sixth Form, said: “Benjamin is as an exceptional pupil, who has overcome personal difficulties to excel in academic endeavours and co-curricular responsibilities that benefit our School community.

“Benjamin’s positive impact at Wetherby Senior means he is Deputy Head Boy, represents our School in sport, performs in plays, and is a leader in volunteering and co-curricular activities. He balances this alongside academic success – he received 8 and 9 grades in his GCSEs, is predicted outstanding A Levels, and has been accepted at the University of Cambridge this year.”

Congratulation Benjamin!
