Time for tea, again

Wetherby Senior hosted another wonderful afternoon tea for members of the Penfold Community.

Taking place in our Marylebone Lane building, this event saw from all years pupils chat with our Penfold Community visitors, with beautiful music provided by our School’s talented young musicians.

Mr Hayes, Wetherby Senior’s Head of Service Learning, said: “This was the second afternoon tea that members of the Penfold Community had enjoyed at Wetherby Senior and, once again, our pupils were an absolute credit to our School. It was a fantastic afternoon, with our young people ensuring that our Penfold Community visitors were made to feel incredibly welcome.”

Wetherby Senior connects regularly with the Penfold Community, which is made up of Westminster residents, aged over 50. As well as this month’s afternoon tea, our Year 10 woodwind quartet also travelled to the Penfold Community Hub in March, where they performed for residents.
