An out of this world competition

Wetherby Senior’s Tribs were challenged on water, land, and culture, at our Inter-Trib Geography competition.

Co-organised by our Geography Scholars, last Friday’s event saw Years 11 to 13 compete in Hannah House Hall, while Years 7 to 10 faced off at Hinde Street Church.

Ms Maroudi, our current Head of Geography, explained: “Our Trib teams had to answer some tough questions within the categories of Water Bodies, Capital Cities, and Geography at the Movies. There was also a great observation round, with questions like, How many zebra crossings are there between Bond St station and Hannah House?

“Congratulations to Fleet, who won our Inter-Trib Geography competition by quite a margin. And thank you to our Geography Scholars, particularly Alex L (president of our Geography Scholars) for helping set up this fantastic event.”

Wetherby Senior’s Geography Scholars are those in Years 11 to 13 who have shown a particularly strong aptitude and keen interest in the subject.
