Keep calm and ski on

Wetherby Senior’s Sport Department expects a flurry of interest in our newly-announced 2024 ski trips.

For Wetherby Senior boys in Years 7-9, it will be a case of piste to pizza, as they head to Borgata, Italy. Located west of Turin, the high altitude ensures great snow coverage and our young skiers will be able to make good use of the Italian and French Alps.

For our older boys, in Years 10-13, it will be a return to panoramic views in Panorama, as our School is also set to visit this Canadian mountain resort in 2023. As well as being home to the largest vertical drop in Canada, Panorama boasts around 100 pistes, making it perfect for beginners and more advanced skiers.

Mr Underwood, from our Sport Department, said: “It’s snow joke to say that our School’s ski trips are always hugely popular, whether boys will be bumping down a bunny slope or bombing down a black run. A day skiing is a day well spent, so I’m delighted that we are able to offer our young people this chance to enjoy some fantastic winter sports in Europe or North America.”

For more information and to register your interest in our February 2024 ski trips, please contact Mr Underwood, in our Sport Department.
