Charitable plans

Following a fantastic year of fundraising activities, Wetherby Senior has more charitable endeavours planned for the coming academic year.

Throughout 2021-22, our Wetherby Senior community raised over £9,000 for our School’s chosen charities. Popular fundraising events included our staff pantomime in December, our 12-hour sponsored spin (pictured, below), and our summer fair.

Head of Charity, Mr Thornton, said: “We are looking to build on our previous success with a variety of fundraising events in the coming academic year. We held our first – our European Day of Languages Bake Sale on Monday. This saw staff, pupils and parents baking tasty European delicacies that were sold for charity.

“Our autumn term alone has a number of further activities taking place. Following Monday’s bake sale, we will also be running our annual shoebox appeal and a Christmas Jumper Day, in December, to support homeless people in Marylebone.”

More information about Wetherby Senior’s fundraising activities will be made available on our School website and social media channels, as well as in our weekly newsletter to parents and staff.
