The Barometer – Half Term 6

The last edition of Wetherby Senior’s The Barometer for 2021-22 is now available online!

Our pupil-led magazine includes reviews of Wetherby Senior events, such as our GCSE and A Level Art and Graphic Design exhibition, our Lower School play, activities during Diversity Week, and our Year 8 sleep out to raise awareness of youth homelessness.

The Barometer also looks beyond our School, with articles on topics like architecture, computer games and the UK’s cod war with Iceland. There is also an interview with football star, Alex McLeish.

This edition of The Barometer is the last to be edited by current Year 13 Henry, who has been senior editor of the publication since 2019. He concludes his final issue by undertaking an interview, alongside Year 7 pupil Felipe, with our Headmaster.

With two issues of The Barometer produced each term, our pupil-led publication enables our young people to gain valuable experience of writing and creating a magazine from scratch. Boys who are interested in working on The Barometer, in the coming academic year, should contact Ms Bradley.
