Biological baking

Wetherby Senior’s Year 12 biologists swapped lab coats for aprons today, ending the academic year with a science-themed bake off.

Brain cupcakes, a cell sponge and fossil biscuits were on display in one of our Marylebone Lane labs, as our young scientists created an array of tasty treats.

Biology teacher, Dr Choong, said: “I was very impressed by the cakes that our sixth formers created, especially the level of scientific detail that went into decorating the cell sponge!

“My A Level Biology class have worked very hard over the last year, so I am delighted that we were able to end Year 12 in such a fun manner.”
