That’s the ticket

The last tickets for this week’s Lower School drama production, The Useless Tree, can be purchased via ParentPay.

Over the weekend, our young actors were at Marylebone for some of their final rehearsals, with support from staff including our Head of Drama, Ms Twomey, plus the play’s writer and director, Mr Tibbles.

Taking place this Wednesday and Thursday, at 7pm, The Useless Tree will see pupils in Years 7 to 9 make good use of a professionally designed set in our Marylebone Lane Drama Studio.

The Useless Tree is the first play written by Wetherby Senior teacher Mr Tibbles, and was inspired by the experience of fellow English teacher, Mr Hayes. Mr Tibbles said: “I have been delighted to see our boys tackle my script sensitively and maturely. Not only have they embraced the creative freedom of originating a role, but they have conscientiously met my demands for truthful naturalism in their acting. I hope their hard work will make our audiences as proud as I am.”

Tickets are on sale via ParentPay for The Useless Tree, which will be performed at 7pm on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th June.
