Shelfie success

They say never judge a book by its cover. However, Wetherby Senior pupils have been judging bookshelves, as part of our School’s Shelfie competition.

Launched last term, following World Book Day, our boys were challenged to match a photograph of a shelf of books with the correct member of staff. As well earning Trib points, this competition allowed a sneak peak into the books that are owned, and loved, by staff across Wetherby Senior.

Mr Munday, our School Librarian, initiated the competition and said: “Members of Fleet submitted the most entries, putting them in first place. However, Effra were the most accurate in their answers and came second, while Tyburn were third. Well done to all who took part.

“Congratulations must also go to Marco and Barnaby, since their excellent guesswork means they both won a bonus book prize!”

Pictured, below, is one of our Shelfie 2022 photographs. For those who are curious, it belongs to our Head of Lower School, Ms Eaves.
