Bronze brilliance

Congratulations to a group of Wetherby Senior sixth formers on their recent success in the British Physics Olympiad.

Four members of our current Year 12 took part in the challenging annual event, which saw Matteo awarded a bronze, while Leo, Tianzhi and Cosmo received commendation awards.

Mr Davies, Head of Physics, said: “The Year 12 Physics Challenge is a very difficult paper that tests problem-solving skills in the subject. All four Wetherby Senior sixth formers should be very proud of their achievements.”

The British Physics Olympiad aims to encourage the study of physics and to recognise excellence in young physicists through ten annual physics competitions.
