Dressed to impress

And Wetherby Senior’s sixth formers were certainly dressed to impress last Friday, for our Prefect Dinner at Marylebone Lane.

A formal, black-tie event, our Prefect Dinner included speeches by our Headmaster, Mr Silvester, and by our current Head Boy, Maxime. This wonderful evening enabled our prefects, plus members of staff, to relax and reflect on their time at Wetherby Senior.

Mrs Deedat, Head of Wetherby Senior’s Sixth Form, said: “Our annual Prefect Dinner provides a welcome opportunity to thank and celebrate the hard work and dedication of our prefects in supporting life across our School.

“As prefects, our sixth formers have undertaken responsibilities that range from meeting prospective pupils and parents at open events to facilitating Trib activities. All of this has helped our School community and has helped our prefects, as they have built vital transferable skills (such as public speaking, confidence and time management), and gained a valuable experience of leadership and responsibility.”

Our Prefect Dinner made good use of our Marylebone Lane Drama Studio, transforming half of the space into an intimate dining room, while the other half remained ready for the coming week’s Trib Drama production.
