Over lunch this week, Wetherby Senior sixth formers have been advising younger pupils about A Level study and life in our Sixth Form.
This week, our current Year 11 cohort were each invited individually by our prefects to enjoy lunch in the Sixth Form canteen. While eating together, our sixth formers discussed A Level options and other exciting opportunities within our Sixth Form with these younger boys.
Ms Maroudi, Assistant Head of Sixth Form, explained: “This was a great way for our Year 11 boys to hear more about A Level study and life in our dynamic and successful Sixth Form. Having been in their position recently, our prefects were delighted to get an opportunity to talk to these younger pupils about their experience, and could offer their advice, wisdom and thoughts on being a sixth former.”
Wetherby Senior’s popular Sixth Form prepares boys for future university study and employment, combining academic excellence with guidance on applying to university in the UK and overseas, a rich careers programme and range of co-curricular activities, and strong pastoral support.
