Ready for opening night

Year 12, Maani, has one of the main roles in Wetherby Senior’s Upper School play, Bus Stop, which will be performed at RADA on Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th December.

“During my time at Wetherby Senior, I’ve been involved in three School plays, taking on main roles in two, so I’m really excited to now be starring in Bus Stop at RADA.

Bus Stop is a really funny play, co-written by Ms Twomey, Head of Drama at Wetherby Senior. Ms Twomey is also directing, and she is so enthusiastic and helpful, as well as full of advice on how to improve your performance and your public speaking.

“On opening night at RADA, I’m sure I feel nervous until I speak my first lines, and then all our hard work and time in rehearsals will pay off. My parents are looking forward to seeing the play and both encouraged me to audition, as they saw how much I enjoyed taking part in previous productions at Wetherby Senior.

“With just a couple of weeks until opening night, tickets for Bus Stop are on sale now, via RADA’s website here!”
