The Barometer – Half Term 4

For features on Field Day to fake news, and stories on sewer systems to swimming success, look no further than Wetherby Senior’s latest issue of The Barometer.

Available online, here, The Barometer – Half Term 4, contains a range of fascinating and fun articles, written by young people from all year groups at Wetherby Senior.

This edition contains a number of stories about our School’s Field Day this month, where activities covered science, art, drama, DoE trips and more. These articles sit alongside topical news stories about the recent discovery of Shackleton’s Endurance in the Antarctic, the Winter Olympics and a review of Oscar-winning film, Belfast.

With two issues of The Barometer produced each term, our pupil-led publication enables our young people to gain valuable experience of writing and creating a magazine from scratch. Published on the last day of term, it also means all within our School community have a good read for the Easter holiday.
