Headmaster’s blog 11/03/22

And so we reach the midway point of this half of our Spring Term. This week, events at School have ranged from our current Year 7 parents’ evening to a Visitor Morning for prospective pupils, and a successful Spring Concert at Hannah House to a well-attended Careers Fair at nearby Queen’s College, London.

The remainder of this term also has plenty to keep our boys busy, alongside their usual lessons and co-curricular activities, with next week’s Field Day and Trib Drama at the end of March. Tickets for Trib Drama are now for sale via ParentPay, on a first come, first served basis.

While our weekly newsletter and website continue to keep all in our community informed of our latest news and events, I’d like to remind parents that we also have a School presence on Twitter and Instagram. In addition, this week, we launched a Facebook page. Please do like and follow to keep up-to-date with life at Wetherby Senior.

Pupils were issued with a wristband this week, which they must now use when entering or leaving our School buildings. As well as further improving safety, once use of these wristbands becomes second nature, they can be programmed to store print credits and have much greater functionality. Thank you for your continued support in encouraging your son to get into the habit of using his wristband during the school day.
