A colourful concert

Wetherby Senior’s musicians and singers will spring into action next Wednesday, with an amazing musical extravaganza for all to enjoy.

Starting at 6:00pm at Hannah House, our School’s Spring Concert will see our Lower School Choir perform songs from Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. This popular musical, by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice, recently returned to the West End with a limited run at the London Palladium, and includes many well-known and well-loved songs.

In addition, our Spring Concert will include pieces performed by many of our School’s musical ensembles, such as strings, guitar and cello, as well as by our brass bands.

Not only does our Spring Concert, on Wednesday 9th March, promise to be a highly entertaining evening, it also provides a valuable opportunity for our young people to gain performance experience, since many events in the last year were cancelled or postponed due to the pandemic.

Below is an image from our last musical event, our Spring Recital, in February 2022.
