Enrichment in the Sixth Form

As Sixth Form students, the boys will also have an opportunity to refine and develop their leadership skills and have opportunities to work with, lead and mentor the younger boys with Prefects who can lead the student body being appointed in Year 13.  Students will also be able to take full advantage of our location in Marylebone, on the doorstep of some of London’s most prestigious businesses and organisations, through work experience programmes, community service, cultural opportunities and university taster days.  The School is currently building links with local girls’ schools to make enrichment opportunities available to the boys.  Joining a Sixth Form which is part of the Senior School means that boys can adopt positions of real responsibility and the prefect team will take a leading role in the day-to-day running of the School. Sixth Formers will also take an active role in mentoring younger boys and will have the opportunity to set up and run clubs and societies.

Young men at Wetherby Senior School are open-minded, enthusiastic and thoughtful and they have a unique opportunity to be involved in shaping their Sixth Form.  Discussions have already begun about the future Sixth Form Centre and the boys will be consulted throughout the planning process.
