Personal University Advisor

We provide boys with exceptional, personalised university guidance to help them attend the universities of their dreams. In Year 11, each boy is assigned a personal university advisor to guide and empower their higher education planning. Our excellent university advisors are passionate, dedicated and highly qualified, with over 100 years of combined support experience, meaning boys receive all the best knowledge and support during their applications. 

Specialised Guidance for North American Universities

As well as supporting plans to study in the UK and continental Europe, we have two exceptional advisors to assist with applications to North American universities. Our US advisors provide one-to-one guidance on the North American application process, plus weekly group sessions on preparing application essays. Their expertise is reflected in our Sixth Form’s fantastic results: in just three years, our sixth formers have received forty offers to study in the US and Canada.

Talks, Workshops and Events

Our sixth formers benefit from a prestigious programme designed to complement their tailored university guidance. From workshops on US applications and talks by university representatives to twilight seminars for parents on possible destinations, we provide ample opportunities to inspire and educate learners as they prepare for the next phase of their education.

Wetherby Senior’s annual university fair, co-hosted with Francis Holland School, provides a valuable opportunity to talk with over 20 representatives from institutions across the UK and beyond, learning more about higher education options. We also take our learners to visit different universities and see what student life is like, learn about degrees from university staff, and speak to current undergraduates.
