Our last week before the half-term break began with activities to mark World Mental Health Day and ends with publication of the latest issue of The Barometer.

I would like to begin on a positive note, by thanking everyone for their support at last Saturday’s Open Day. It was a terrific team effort, with visitors full of praise for our pupils, staff, and PTA members.

It has been fantastic to welcome a number of current parents to Marylebone this week, starting with our successful Year 8 parents’ evening on Tuesday. This was followed, on Wednesday, by an exciting A Level subject taster afternoon for our Year 11, before a well-attended Sixth Form information evening for pupils and parents.

Although it has been a shorter week, due to Monday’s public holiday, there has been much to keep all at Wetherby Senior busy.

We have now reached the end of a busy academic year at Wetherby Senior School, with our last week of this term including Sports Day, our prize-giving ceremony, and publication of the latest edition of The Barometer.

And so we reach the last Friday of this academic year and our final full week has included Year 10 parents’ evenings, the last GCSE exams, and the world premiere of our Lower School play, written by Mr Tibbles and featuring superb performances from some of our youngest pupils – well done to all involved…

And so we reach the end of another busy week for Wetherby Senior which, despite the disruption of transport strikes, has included a number of fantastic events and activities for our prospective and current pupils, plus our alumni.
